Shawn West is the owner of Southern Dwelling Construction. A Charleston native, he calls Johns Island home with his wife and two children. Shawn grew up working alongside his father, a local, independent contractor in Charleston, South Carolina for over 30 years. Shawn graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor's degree in business and began his career with Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor. Shawn's gift has always been a vision and heart for his client's happily ever after. It is this passion for listening to what a client wants and needs and turning that into a reality that made him a trusted and successful financial advisor and business owner in Charleston for over eighteen years. After building three of his own homes and assisting others who turned to him for advice in building, Shawn felt led to combine his business expertise and vision into building client's forever homes.
